Accredited Online Middle School

Middle School:
A Time of Transition

Middle school marks an important transition from elementary to secondary. PCPA utilizes a hybrid home room approach to help ease this change and support students as they develop independence.

Middle school marks an important transition from elementary to secondary education. Pathway Christian Prep Academy’s virtual secondary school utilizes a hybrid home room approach to help ease this change and support students as they develop independence.

In our engaging, flexible, online Christian middle school model, students have a humanities teacher and a science/math teacher that team-teach. These instructors help support students across core academics and electives as they develop independence required for success in secondary school.

Our online Jr. high school is fully accredited by Cognia (formerly known as AdvancED), backed by the recognition and authority of accrediting agencies NCA CASI, NWAC, and SACS CASI. This matters because it demonstrates to parents, students, and other institutions that Pathway Christian Prep Academy meets the research-based performance standards established for education accreditation. In the future, when your child enters high school and, later, applies for college, accreditation can help his or her chances of being accepted at the desired school.

Overall, the rigorous, fully accredited Pathway Christian Prep middle school experience is defined by a Christ-centered curriculum in a faith-based, online learning environment. We provide daily live sessions, engaging content, recorded tutorials, and opportunities for group interaction — all with a goal of equipping students to have a godly influence on the world. If you’re looking for an affordable Christian private school with Biblically based community and plenty of adaptability to your needs, apply to Pathway Christian Prep Academy!

Discipleship, Mentorship & Leadership Development

Because we believe young people thrive with mentor relationships from Christian role models, we’ve designed our online middle school program to provide a framework for discipleship, mentorship, and leadership development. Through Bible classes, Chapel, Advisory, Student Led Clubs, and much more, teachers have the opportunities to become actively involved with the growth and development of our PCPA middle school students.

  • Rearched-based Coursework

In our accredited online middle school, students engage in grade-appropriate content aligned with national standards, completing learning activities that are research-based and effective. English, social science, math, and science form the core. Electives in the arts, career exploration, foreign language, STEM, and much more offer students unique experiences in learning.

  • Meaningful Community

Young people need a healthy community to grow and thrive. PCPA is not a course solution. We are a vibrant, God-centered community where students have live classes together, complete learning activities in groups, play fun games in community events, and explore learning together. The flexibility of online learning does not have to be disconnected from others.

  • Adaptive Learning

Normed diagnostics and personalized learning paths meet our learners’ specific needs. No matter if it’s additional grade-level support and intervention, or accelerated advancement to content at higher grade levels, individualized instructional modules of secondary education online create a learning journey that is personal and effective.
