Accredited Online Elementary School
Pathway’s virtual school K-5 curriculum fosters and encourages critical thinking skills through project-based learning for elementary students. Courses at our accredited online elementary school include a variety of learning approaches, from interactive digital activities to hands-on projects that add fun and engagement to students’ learning. These activities focus on children’s natural sense of curiosity and encourage them to explore, discover, and creatively showcase what they’ve learned. This real-world focus has a research-based foundation of getting results and developing students effectively.
Our core online Christian elementary school curriculum is Biblically-integrated and designed to help students develop a worldview that supports the assimilation of spirituality into every aspect of life. PCPA believes students realize their full potential by understanding who their Creator is, who He has made them to be, and what the purpose of the world is through that lens.

Kindergarten
Kindergarten students will refine reading skills with read-aloud books and a phonics-based approach. Reading materials are integrated with science and social studies for interdisciplinary education. Math exploration introduces students to numbers, shapes, problem solving, and ordering numbers.
1st Grade
Watch your child develop into an independent reader and writer. First graders build on what they learned in Kindergarten to develop phonemic awareness, comprehension, and vocabulary. Students build a strong foundation in math skills and concepts.
2nd Grade
Second grade builds on acquired skills from 1st grade and engages students with their community. Students become fully immersed in the world of independent reading and build a strong foundation in math through projects that mirror real-world application.
3rd Grade
Reading, writing, and fundamental skills are intertwined so students learn them organically and with purpose. In 3rd grade, collaboration is integrated into lessons and projects. Learning will take place on a personal level, cultivating a deeper understanding of subjects. The Singapore Math Method continues to build on previous concepts.
4th Grade
Students exercise their creativity — writing original compositions, applying their growing math and science knowledge in innovative ways, and more. Students take a hands-on approach as they tackle real-world scientific problems, explore North American history, and take their math skills to the next level.
5th Grade
Students learn to make connections between American history, literature, and geography. Essential writing skills continue to be developed, including paragraph structure, outlining, and summarizing. In Social Studies, students investigate the history of the United States and their home state from the Reconstruction Era through modern times.
