In Pathway’s middle school program, students build on their foundation by developing independence, critical thinking, and strong study habits in a Christ-centered environment.

    In middle school, the FLEx PBL Model continues to provide Foundational Learning Experiences through Project-Based Learning, but with a deeper emphasis on independence, critical thinking, and collaboration. The framework challenges students to begin thinking across subject areas and to take more ownership of their learning.

    Project: Projects expand in scope, requiring research, planning, and teamwork, while serving as key assessments.

    Learn: New content is introduced in alignment with middle school standards, emphasizing analytical thinking, problem-solving, and connections between disciplines.

    Use: Students apply their learning in more complex, real-world contexts—using data, designing solutions, and testing outcomes.
