Our Mission
Educating, inspiring, and empowering tomorrow’s leaders for the glory of God.
“But forget all that—
it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
For I am about to do something new.
See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland……
so my chosen people can be refreshed.
I have made Israel for myself,
and they will someday honor me before the whole world.”
Isaiah 43:18-21
Our Vision: A Pathway Through the Wilderness
Pathway is a Christian school planting movement inspired by Isaiah 43:18-21, where God declares, “I will make a pathway through the wilderness.” This scripture reflects God’s promise to bring hope and restoration in seemingly impossible situations. Just as God led Israel out of exile, we believe He is creating a new path for education—a wilderness transformed into a place of refreshment and empowerment for the next generation to honor Him.
Today’s educational landscape can feel like a wilderness, with increasing challenges for families seeking God-honoring, value-driven schooling. Secular systems often sideline faith, parental rights, and biblical principles, contributing to rising rates of confusion, depression, and mental health struggles among youth. Yet, we see immense potential in this generation. With the right environment, they can stand on the shoulders of faithful men and women, growing into leaders who know God, commune with Him, and fulfill their unique callings.
PCPA exists to partner with families, churches, Christian schools, and educational networks to provide resources, frameworks, and systems that empower Christ-centered education. Our mission is to disciple the next generation, equipping them to thrive in their God-given purpose.
Our Statement of Faith
It is the testimony of both the Old and New Testaments and of the Christian Church that God is both One and Triune. The Biblical revelation testifies that there is only one God and that He is eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God the Father: God the Father is the creator and sustainer of all things, and He created the universe in love. He created man in His own image for fellowship and called man back to Himself through Christ after the rebellion and fall of man.
God the Son: Jesus Christ is eternally God. He was together with the Father and the Holy Spirit from the beginning, and through Him all things were made. For man’s redemption, He left heaven and became incarnate by the Holy Spirit through the virgin Mary; henceforth, He is forever one Christ with two natures—God and man—in one person.
God the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is God, the Lord and giver of life, who was active in the Old Testament and given to the Church in fullness at Pentecost. He empowers the saints for service and witness, cleanses man from the old nature and conforms us to the image of Christ. The baptism in the Holy Spirit, subsequent to conversion, releases the fullness of the Spirit and is evidenced by the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
The Trinity
We affirm that the Bible, containing the Old and New Testaments, is alone the only infallible, inspired Word of God, and that its authority is ultimate, final, and eternal. It cannot be added to, subtracted from, or superseded in any regard. The Bible is the source of all doctrine, instruction, correction, and reproof. It contains all that is needed for guidance in godliness and practical Christian conduct.
The Scripture
Christ’s death on the cross paid the penalty for the sins of the whole world, but its benefits are only applicable to those who receive Jesus as their personal Savior. Healing—body, soul, and spirit—and all of God’s provisions for His saints, are provided for in the atonement, but these must be appropriated.
The Atonement
We believe that the Scriptures portray the life of the saint in this world to be one of balance between what is imputed to us as Christians and what is imparted to us according to our faith and maturity. God’s provision for His children is total, and the promises are final and forever. The shortcomings of the individual and of the Church are because of the still progressing sanctification of the saints. The Christian life is filled with trials, tests, and warfare against a spiritual enemy. For those abiding in Christ until their deaths or His return, the promises of eternal blessing in the presence of God are assured. To remain faithful through all circumstances of life requires dependence upon the Holy Spirit and a willingness to die to personal desires and passions.
Salvation
The Word of God declares clearly that salvation is a free gift of God, based on the merits of the death of His Son, and is appropriated by faith. Salvation is effected by personal repentance, belief in the Lord Jesus (justification), and personal acceptance of Him into one’s life as Lord and Savior (regeneration). The new life in Christ includes the privileges of adoption and inheritance in the kingdom of God’s beloved Son. Salvation is an act of free will in response to God’s personal love for mankind. Salvation should produce an active lifestyle of loving obedience and service to Jesus Christ our Savior.

Our Educational Philosophy
At Pathway, we believe every student is uniquely created by God with immense potential to learn, grow, and make a transformative impact. Our educational philosophy is rooted in the conviction that all truth originates from God and flows outward from His sovereign Kingship, shaping a Christ-centered worldview that informs high academic standards and nurtures students’ spiritual, intellectual, mental, physical, social, and emotional development. We are committed to equipping students for Godly impact across all spheres of society through authentic connection, family partnership, real-world learning, and empowering discipleship.
Authentic Connection (Distance Education, Not Distant): As a flexible online academy, we deliver education that fosters genuine relationships despite physical distance. Through live classes, small-group discussions, and personalized mentoring, we create meaningful connections among students, teachers, and families. Our mentors serve as role models and instructional guides, reflecting God’s truth and love while advocating for each student’s holistic growth.
Family Partnership (Parental Rights and Authority): We honor parents as the primary stewards of their child’s education, upholding their rights and authority. Through our parent-led homeschool options and teacher-supported virtual models, we collaborate closely with families to tailor learning experiences that align with their values and God’s truth, ensuring students thrive in an environment shaped by family priorities.
Real-World Learning (FLEx Projects and PBL): Our commitment to practical impact drives us to integrate hands-on, project-based learning through Flexible Learning Experiences (FLEx) projects. These initiatives enable students to apply academic knowledge, grounded in God’s truth, to real-world challenges, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Our curriculum prepares students for post-secondary pursuits—whether in college, university, or vocational training—while equipping them with practical skills for career and mission-related settings.
Empowering Discipleship (Equipping for Godly Impact): We are dedicated to empowering students as disciples of Christ, recognizing that all truth flows from God’s Kingship and guides their daily walk. Our goal is to help students discover their identity in Christ, their unique giftings, and their calling to influence their communities and the world with integrity and compassion. By cultivating reflective, self-directed, and engaged learners, we prepare students to be lifelong contributors to society, living out God’s truth for His glory.
The role of our teachers is to mentor and guide, building meaningful relationships while providing research-based instruction rooted in God’s truth and facilitating the learning process. Students are encouraged to be reflective critical thinkers, self-directed learners, and compassionate contributors to their school, community, and beyond. Together, we create an environment where students can explore their God-given potential, master essential skills, and pursue their unique purpose under His Kingship.
