Pathway Elementary’s 100th Day of School
Last week, our elementary students and teachers celebrated 100 days of school!
We kicked off the festivities with a live zoom celebration session with each class from K through 5th grade. Students were adorned with their best impersonation of the 100 year old version of themselves; some even drawing in wrinkle lines and facial hair! Each class created a world cloud of “100 things we are thankful for” that ranged from silly things like mac ‘n cheese and Minecraft to more serious things like Jesus, hospitals, and kindness.
Students then participated in some fun 100th day themed activities. Teachers got their students’ heart rates pumping as they did 100 repetitions of jazzercise movements, like jumping jacks, sit ups and arm circles. And then finished off with some games and a scavenger hunt around the house. Our teachers had a blast celebrating with their classes and it looks like the students did too!
During the celebration, teachers also highlighted some of the projects and classwork that were completed since the beginning of the school year. Students had a special time of encouragement as each class cheered for each other for accomplishing 100 days worth of learning, homework, and projects!
Here are some of the 100 day highlights that teachers shared from each grade level:

Built and tested a beaver dam
Wrote and illustrated a weather book
